In 2006, Oconomowoc was awarded the responsibility of producing power transmission assemblies for The Gehl Company's well-established line of forage harvester equipment – a significant component to a line known to last for several generations. Perhaps of equal interest is that before this change, Gehl had internally produced the very same product for the better part of 150 years, in part helping to establish them as the leading non-tractor manufacturer of agricultural equipment in North America.
