Gehl Selects OMCO

December 7, 2006 (Oconomowoc) – Oconomowoc Manufacturing Corp. (OMCO), a leading manufacturer of ball bearings and other motion-related products based in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, was recently selected by the Gehl Company (www.gehl.com), headquartered in West Bend, WI, to manufacture power transmission assemblies for the company’s well established agricultural line of forage harvester products.
Gehl has been producing agriculture implements for nearly 150 years. Today, it is the leading non-tractor manufacturer of agricultural equipment in North America, offering a broad line of implements for the farm equipment industry. Gehl also has had a strong presence in international markets for over 50 years.
With more than four decades of manufacturing experience related to power transmission related products, Oconomowoc Mfg. Corp. was selected in large part due to the company’s expertise pertaining to assembly automation.
